In 2020, we participated in Governor’s Bakers emergency request for local manufacturers to develop local sources within the state of Massachusetts for the high production manufacturing of PPE equipment during the COVID-19 crisis; we worked around the clock 7 days a week to help design and manufacture an assembly line consisting of multiple automated N95 mask making machines; right here in West Bridgewater, Massachusetts.
Smart Manufacturing also been very involved with suppling products for our nation's defense; on land, in air, on & under the seas, as well as in orbit; components to many different missile systems from Stinger to Minuteman ICBM, as well as product for hundreds of other types of military equipment.
Just one example of our capabilities can be summed up here; In the 1980's General Electric Awarded us a plaque stating the Mechanical Gyros we manufactured for the M1 Abrams Tank’s were of the highest quality precision machining they’d even seen. Those Gyro’s control Azimuth and Elevation on the main gun while the vehicle is in motion, allowing America’s highly skilled Tankers to target, destroy enemy armor & positions at ranges beyond belief, and most importantly while Service Members are abroad keeping America and our allies safe, such equipment helps to give our combat forces an edge over our adversaries and the abilities to return home to their loved ones.
